Southeastern Roastery
Southeastern Roastery mindfully cultivates the senses by providing high quality, fine specialty coffees sourced ethically and sustainably.
Born in Oklahoma and raised in Virginia - Candy considers the south her home. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Florida A&M University, a MA in International Affairs from American University and a MA in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from University for Peace (Costa Rica). She spends a lot of time with her dog, Aji, love to travel, and call anywhere in the world with a beach and good food home.
We have current and future partnerships with Pigtown Climbs and other Baltimore based organizations of color to improve social equity for people of color.
As a part of the Specialty Coffee Association we adhere to strict environmental standards in sourcing coffee.
We work to coffee source as much as possible via direct trade to improve sales directly to producers for increased spending in environmental initiatives.
